Open string probe of hairy BTZ black hole

The Bondi-Metzner-Sachs symmetry at null infinity has been revisited in recent years. Its application to massive three-dimensional gravity admits BTZ black hole solutions with a soft hair. Though this supertranslation acts trivially as pure gauge at the boundary, it does modify the entropy disrespect to the area law. In this talk, we will probe this hairy background by open strings and discuss what are the effects of supertranslation on those transport properties in the dual CFT.
