Structural variations of uniform lying helix in cholesteric liquid crystals doped with different concentrations of liquid crystal dimers

In this study, the proposed phase gratings are fabricated by the uniform lying helix (ULH) textures of cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs). With the characteristics of LCs, an electrically tunable phase grating is realizable under ULH textures. Besides, the effect of the LC dimer, CB7CB, to ULH textures is investigated.
