The structure of the shadow which is nothing but the effect of light bending dueto strong gravitational field is a very good tool to understand black hole physics and also totest General Relativity(GR). Recent discoveries about connection of asymptotic symmetries of GR with IR structure of gravity has originated the baffling question of detection of soft hair. Though the spacetime metric of the black hole with soft hair is a diffeomorphic to the Schwarzschild metric for static geometry, the Hamiltonian for the null geodesic is not separable. The position and shape of the photon ring can be analytically calculated forlinearized soft hair function. Due to the inseparability of the Hamiltonian the shadow hasto be computed using ray-tracing method. In this talk, I will discuss about the properties of the shadow of a black hole with super-translation hair.
