High entropy oxides (HEO) have drawn numerous attention due to its unique physical properties. In this study, we investigate the magnetic interaction of epitaxial (Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni)O thin film by applying different strain with SrTiO3, MgAl2O4, MgO substrates. First, x-ray diffraction (XRD) helps us confirm the epitaxial relationship between film and substrate. In addition, the strain state of (Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni)O thin film is also explored by XRD. Then, vibrating sample magnetometer provides the magnetic information of film. We have discovered the behavior of blocked superparamagnetism and the variation of blocking temperature under different strain. To realize the magnetic interaction and local structure inside the thin film, x-ray absorption spectroscopy has been utilized. This study provides a unique high entropy magnetic system for future development of functional spintronics.
